The musician thanked his fans for the career-long support he has received.

“I have to say a big thank you to my fans for staying true with me all these years back to back,” Terry G said.

“I really appreciate you all. Thank you so much for the love, I really appreciate.

I am about to make a big announcement, I know it is going to hurt a lot of people but I have my personal reasons.

I am quitting music. I no dey do again. I am done and I really appreciate you guys for showing me so much love.”

A few days ago, Terry G expressed disappointment in his colleagues for ignoring him during a challenging period.

He shared his sadness regarding the lack of response from fellow artistes despite his persistent attempts to reach out for support.

Terry G reflected on of their actions, recalling how he had previously been there for them when they sought his help.

Expressing his frustration, Terry G questioned whether it would take his death for them to acknowledge his contributions.

In 2023, the singer engaged the All Progressives Congress (APC) in an online outburst for allegedly failing to pay him for his campaign performances.

In 2020, he spoke about not landing endorsement deals because a negative image was cast on him.

“I looked like the baddest guy in Nigeria. Endorsement time came, nobody endorsed me. Nobody did anything all that time when Terry G was hot,” he had said.
