The Lagos State police command has arrested the driver of Bus Rapid Transit(BRT), who drove Oluwabamise Ayanwole who was murdered. The development was confirmed by the spokesman of the state police command, Adekunle Ajisebutu on Monday.
He further stated in a chat with Punch that the remains of the 22-year-old fashion designer who was declared missing a few days ago had been found.
According to Ajisebutu, the killers of Ayanwole who went missing after boarding the bus would face justice.
Ajisebutu noted that the remains of the deceased were dumped on the Carter Bridge by Ogogoro Community by her abductors.
Recall that Ayanwole went missing while returning to Ota from Ajah on February 26 when she boarded a BRT bus with number 240257 going to Oshodi at about 7 pm at Chevron Bus-Stop.
Meanwhile, two other suspects have been arrested by the state police command in connection to the abduction of Ayanwole.
The command further stated that the suspects are providing useful information to detectives at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti.
