AFCON: Super Eagles stars rally round Alex Iwobi in solidarity against Cyberbullying

Super Eagles stars have rallied around Alex Iwobi in solidarity against cyberbullying.

The Fulham midfielder was subjected to an online attack from fans following Nigeria’s 2 – 1 loss to Ivory Coast in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The attacks led to Alex deleting almost all the posts on his Instagram page as he considers retiring from international football.

Several of his colleagues including Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Kenneth Omeruo, Joe Aribo, William Troost-Ekong, and others have taken to their respective social media accounts to send a message of support and urge fans to do better.

The message read: “We win together, We lose together, We are all one, some of our fans should do better.”
