The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi on Sunday held a meeting with former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose. The meeting was held at the residence of Fayose in Lagos State.
Though the details of their discussion have not been made public yet, it is believed to be in line with the presidential ambition of the former Governor of Anambra State, Obi.
The meeting was confirmed by an ally of Fayose, Lere Olayinka who took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to share pictures of the meeting between the LP candidate and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain.
Sharing the pictures on his handle, Olayinka wrote: “Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi visits former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose in his Lagos residence today.”
