Omoyele Sowore has lashed out at Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State after he declared his interest to contest in the 2023 presidential election.
Wike declared his intention to contest in the 2023 presidential election under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday in Benue State.
Addressing some PDP members at the Government House, Makurdi, Wike described himself as the best man to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Rivers governor berated some of the PDP presidential aspirants for neglecting the opposition party when their expertise and experience was really needed.
In a veiled reference to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Wike blamed the two chieftains for the party’s defeat in the 2015 presidential election.
Reacting on Facebook, publisher and activist Sowore called Wike unprintable names.
