Court fines Femi Fani-Kayode for contempt

A Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday ordered former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, to pay a N200,000 fine.

The former minister was found in contempt of court after claiming bed rest for his absence from his re-arraignment.

The court asked counsel to Fani-Kayode, F. Ajudua to choose between having his client’s bail revoked or pay the fine.
