Iyabo Ojo, Nkechi Blessing Reacts To TAMPAN Ban

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing has reacted to the ban of Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) from the Nollywood industry.

It was reported that the leadership of TAMPAN threatened to frustrate Iyabo Ojo and her colleague Nkechi Blessing out of the Nollywood industry, barring its directors from working with the Nollywood stars.

This comes after the actresses consistently via their social media platform condemned the conduct of their colleague, Baba Ijesha, who allegedly defiled the foster daughter of Nigerian comedienne, Princess.

Reacting to the ban; Iyabo Ojo vowed she would not be silenced regardless of the opposition against her. In her own words, she wrote;

“Silence is golden is why a lot of our girl or boy child gets abused, molested or raped daily and yet they are afraid to speak up.. bcos they’ll be bullied to silent by the same society meant to protect them. Silence aint golden in Nigeria. I can never be silenced know that and know God Periodt”.

Nkechi Blessing Sunday wrote;

“Nobody can even collect my voice, whoever has gone the extra miles to see you in pains and make you cry. Heavens will go the extra miles to frustrate their efforts ijn. Amen. For as many, that sit and hits their chest that they will frustrate me. God will their entire generation publicly..only if I do not serve God. If i open my mouth talk about this particular man, his grown-up daughters would be ashamed of him.. let me just keep shut and move on like they don’t exit cus hmmmmm”
