We’re Still Going To Arrest Ekpeyong, Oke – Magu

The acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, has said there is no going back on the decision of the anti-graft agency to arrest a former Director-General of the Department of State Services, Ita Ekpeyong; and a former DG of the National Intelligence Agency, Ambassador Ayo Oke.

Magu disclosed this on Wednesday when he spoke with State House correspondents in Abuja.

He said nobody, no matter how highly placed, was above the law of the land.
He said the commission has concrete evidence against both Oke and Ekpeyong.

Speaking after he attended the inauguration of the committee on recovery of assets at the Presidential Villa, Abuja by President Muhammadu Buhari, Magu said: “The law will take its course.”
