The death has been announced of former President of the Nigerian Labour Congress, Pascal Bafyau.
The former labour leader passed away over the weekend at the age of 65 in Abuja. He is from Adamawa State.
After leaving the union in 1994, he went into politics and became a member of the defunct Social Democratic Party. Until his death, Bafyau was a member of the PDP.
The Public Relations Officer of the National Hospital, Abuja, confirmed on Monday that Bafyau’s body has since been deposited at the hospital’s morgue.
