Bauchi, Plateau and Sokoto’s Elections Inconclusive, INEC Declares

Mohammed Kyari, the returning officer of governor election in Bauchi, has declared the governorship election in the State inconclusive.

He explained that the margin of 4,059 votes between the two leading parties was less than 45,312, which was the number of cancelled votes.

After the announcement of election from 19 of the 20 LGA in the state, PDP is in lead after scoring 469,512, and closely followed by APC with 465,453 votes.

Also, in Plateau State, the returning electoral officer, Richard Kimbir, has declared the governorship election inconclusive.

He explained that APC polled 583,255 while PDP polled 538,326. The electoral officer furthered explained that the margin is 44, 929, while the cancelled vote is 49, 377.

Meanwhile, in Sokoto State, Fatima Mukhtar, the INEC returning officer, declared the governorship election inconclusive because the margin of win between APC and PDP, is 3, 413.

PDP polled 489,558 votes while APC polled 486,145, and the number of cancelled votes is 75, 403.
