Nigerian hip-hop star, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command in connection with the death of his friend, Tagbo Umeike.
Channels TV reporter, Mayowa Ogundele, posted the developing story on her twitter page.
Recall Nollywood actress, Caroline Danjuma had alleged that the ‘Fall’ crooner had a hand Tagbo’s death, claiming she was dating him until his untimely death.
She further said Davido and his other friends abandoned Tagbo’s corpse at the General Hospital, Lagos after he died in his (Davido) car.
Davido, however has come out to deny the allegations, adding that he was being punished for his openness to everyone.
His reported arrest is coming on the heels of the passing of billionaire businessman, Dapo Abiodun’s son, Dj Olu who was found dead alongside his friend, Chime, in his car (DJ Olu) on Saturday, October 7.
DJ Olu was Davido’s Disc Jockey until his death.
