Justice Ifeanyi, a 21-year old job seeker has confessed to police detectives in Delta state how he planned to kidnap himself in order to collect N4million as ransom from his uncle.
Ifeanyi, who is among suspected armed robbers, kidnappers, and cultists arrested and paraded by the police in Asaba, Delta state said he was desperate to celebrate Christmas in a big way.
But, police authorities told journalists during the parade that Ifeanyi planned his own kidnap and made a ransom demand of N4million to secure his release from his uncle.
The words of Ifeanyi: “I left Rivers for Delta state to plan my kidnap so that I can collect money from my uncle to complete my father’s house in the village”.
“The gang began to threaten me when my uncle refused to pay the ransom so I had to run away.”
