Boko Haram Launches Radio Station

Dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram, has reportedly set up an FM station broadcasting on 96.8 frequency, Voice of America (Hausa service) is reporting.

The report said habitats of the Tolkomari village in the far north state of Cameroon confirmed they were able to tune into the channel.

According to them, the station is an open air where Boko Haram’s propaganda is freely challenging statements from authorities claiming that they are winning the war.

Recently, a man from Owerri reportedly travelled to Borno state to join the sect.

The man, identified as Godwin Okoh, made a video of himself  pledging allegiance and flying the flag of the sect which has killed over 20,000 Nigerians and displaced over 2 million others in its seven year war against the Federal Government of Nigeria.
