Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Gombe zonal office have interrogated 11 staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state.
The officials were quizzed for allegedly receiving a N120 million bribe across the state, ostensibly to “undermine” the 2015 general elections.
It was learnt that the said money, which allegedly came from some politicians, was meant for the staff in the 11 local government areas of the state.
