Ronke Shonde: Autopsy indicates husband might not have beaten her to death

In what can only be termed a shocking twist, reports coming in indicate that the preliminary autopsy reports carried out on Ronke Shonde, the woman allegedly killed by her husband, show that the marks of violence on her might not have killed her.

The mother of two was allegedly beaten to death by her husband Lekan Shonde when he accused her of carrying on an affair with one Kayode Oluokun.

It’s still early days though as only a phase of the autopsy has been carried out and the report is still being compiled.

According to reports, a source said on the matter  “As of now, the report showed that the marks of violence on the victim have nothing to do with her death. Other areas are still being explored. The actual thing that killed her has not been stated.”

The police are yet to get the report according to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos who said  she’d spoken to the people in charge who have in turn informed her that the result is incomplete.

She advised that caution be exercised and that no one jump to any conclusion. She assured that the police were monitoring the case and would get the results soon which would be disclosed to the public.
