Two members of a notorious cult group, Jamiu Okanlawon (20) and Oluwaseun Owoeye (30) were arrested on Sunday while engaging a rival cult group in a supremacy battle that injured two persons.

The clash happened at Orelope area of Ilogbo Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The suspects’ arrest followed a distress call received by the DPO of Onipanu Division, CSP Bamidele Job, that the cultists were on a rampage and disturbing the peace of the area.

Upon the distress call, the DPO mobilized his men, in collaboration with the local vigilante to the scene.
