Footage has emerged of the moment unknown gunmen killed a former judge of the Enugu State High Court, Stanley Nnaji.
The 29-second amateur video shows four gunmen removing the victim from his black Mercedes Benz SUV before pumping bullets into his body beside the vehicle.
A police statement stated that the gunmen made away with the vehicle, noting that the incident occurred on Sunday.
According to the statement, the incident occurred at the popular Ebeano Tunnel Roundabout off Garden Avenue in Enugu.
The command said that the victim was rushed to Enugu State University Teaching Hospital, (ESUTH) where he was confirmed dead by doctors on duty and his corpse deposited in the mortuary for autopsy.
State Police Commissioner, Mr Mohammed Aliyu, ordered a full-scale manhunt of the armed assailants.
