#NigeriaDecides: Ibori’s Daughter Defeats Incumbent Rep Member

The House of Representatives candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Ethiope Federal Constituency, Erhriatake Ibori-Suenu, has defeated the incumbent, Ben Rolands Igbakpa of the New Nigerian People’s Party.

Ibori-Suenu is the daughter of a former governor of Delta State and Leader of the PDP in the state, Chief James Onanefe Ibori.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu winner of the Ethiope Federal Constituency.

The certified result of the House of Representatives election from the constituency as released by INEC shows PDP 20,814 votes; APC 15,172; NNPP 8,901; APGA 2,155; ADC 637; ZLP 563.
