Uzodinma Threatens Attackers Of Ohanaeze Ndigbo President’s Home

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has threatened to hunt down the attackers of the country home of the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Prof. George Obiozor.

It was earlier reported that unknown gunmen burnt down the residence of the former Nigerian Ambassador to the United States in Awo-Omanma, Oru East Local Government Area of the state.

The gunmen who arrived at the Ohanaeze Ndigbo leader’s home in vehicles razed the house with Explosives Ordinance Disposals.

The former ambassador was not at home when the gunmen attacked his property.

Reacting to the attack, governor Uzodinma condemned the attack on the country home of the Igbo leader, saying that the act was cowardly and a height of desperation.

The governor said his government will hunt the perpetrators down and make them face the full weight of the law.

Uzodinma, however, sympathised with the Ohanaeze Ndigbo President over the attack on his country home.

“The time of those who unleash this kind of mayhem in the state is over. We shall hunt them down to face the full weight of the law,” he said.
