Ned Nwoko vs Jaruma: Police now mercenaries used to damage Nigerians – Sowore

RevolutionNow convener, Omoyele Sowore, has reacted to the ongoing face-off between a popular billionaire, Ned Nwoko and aphrodisiac seller, Hauwa Saidu Mohammed, otherwise known as Jaruma.

Sowore accused Nwoko of using the police to damage innocent Nigerians.

He lamented that the police would allow its operatives be deployed as mercenaries.

In a post on his verified Facebook page, the activist wrote: “#FreeJaruma: It is disheartening that Nigeria Police Force continues to deploy itself to despicable VIP mercenary activities.

“This so-called Billionaire, Ned Nwoko has done so much damage to lots of innocent citizens in his community with the aid of the Nigeria police. Jaruma is his latest victim. This culture cannot stand! #RevolutionNow #WeCantContinueLikeThis.”

Recall that Jaruma had called out Regina Daniels for a sponsored Advert she paid that didn’t do well.

The aphrodisiac (Kayanmata) seller also claimed that her product used by Regina Daniels was responsible for the collapse of Nwoko’s marriage to Laila.

But, the Nollywood actress who is married to Nwoko denied using Jaruma’s products, claiming she was just paid to advertise.

Following Jaruma’s claims, Ned Nwoko was said to have arrested and charged the businesswoman to court.

The FCT Upper Court had remanded Jaruma in Suleja prison.

Jaruma was arrested after a petition was filed by the billionaire, husband of her former brand influencer, Regina Daniels.
