The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has effected the posting of new Commissioners to the Police Commands in Adamawa, Imo and Plateau States.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Deputy Commissioner of Police Frank Mba, on Tuesday.
Mba said the postings were with immediate effect.
Those affected by the positing are CPs Olugbenga Adeyanju, who heads to Adamawa State; Isaac Olutayo Akinmoyede, Imo State; and Edward Chuka Egbuka, Plateau State.
The only non-State Command posting announced on Friday was that of CP Audu Adamu Madaki, who is to head the Force Criminal Investigation Department at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Mba added in the statement: “While enjoining the citizens of the affected States to accord the CPs maximum support and cooperation, the IGP charges the newly posted officers to ensure that they effectively consolidate and improve on the performances of their predecessors.”
