This revelation was made by VeryDarkMan’s legal counsel, Deji Adeyanju, who confirmed that Falana had made multiple calls to challenge what he described as an unlawful arrest.
Interestingly, Falana’s involvement comes despite an ongoing legal dispute between his family and VeryDarkMan. The Falana family had previously filed a **₦1 billion defamation lawsuit** against VeryDarkMan over a leaked voice recording in which popular crossdresser Bobrisky allegedly claimed that musician Falz contacted him while in jail, offering to help secure a presidential pardon for **₦10 million** through his father.
Adeyanju had earlier criticized Falana for his perceived silence on the matter but later confirmed that the senior advocate had been actively working behind the scenes to challenge the detention.
