Oyo State Fire Service has removed alive, a 27-year-old man from a well in Ogbomoso in Oyo State.
The agency disclosed this in a statement by its Chairman, Maroof Akinwande and made available on Tuesday.
Akinwande said the agency received a distress call that someone had fallen into a deep well on Monday.
He said the incident occurred at Ire Akari, Adeniran area in Ogbomoso, noting that the rescued individual has been handed over to the police.
He said “On Monday 1st December, 2025 at exactly 7:00hrs, we were summoned that somebody fell inside a well at Ire Akari, Adeniran area, Ogbomoso.
“On getting to the scene, it was discovered that a man of about 27yrs old, named Alagbe Gbemisoye fell into a deep well, he was recovered and handed over to the D.P.O, Owode Police Station’.
