Biodun Oyebanji, the governor of Ekiti State, has urged the populace to wait a little while more, promising the labor force that the new minimum wage will not let them down.
Speaking in Ado Ekiti, the state capital of Ekiti, Oyebanji reiterated his expectation that he would pay out all outstanding pension arrears before the year ends while presenting retirees with checks for ₦1 billion in gratuities.
Everything will be OK with minimum wage once the President puts it into law.
