Peter Obi Says, “To Those Who Spread Falsehoods About Me, I Hold No Malice”
Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) nominee for president in 2023, said on Sunday that he has no ill will toward anybody who disseminate misinformation about him.
In a personally signed statement made public through his X account, Obi said that while he acknowledges that people who propagate false information about him are acting on behalf of their masters, he urged them to focus their efforts on aiding Nigerians who are suffering as a result of the unfavorable economic climate rather than spreading false information about him.
The former governor of Anambra State stated that his political career has been driven by the idea of sincere love for the people rather than any desire for personal gain.
