Shehu Oyibo, an Inspector of the Nigerian Police Force, was allegedly shot and killed in Abia State by gunmen.
The Abia State Command Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maureen Chinaka, confirmed to newsmen in a statement that the killed officer was a member of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS).
She said that during the attack on a police patrol squad stationed near Mosque Street, Ngwa Road, in Aba, three civilians were brutally slain.
