Segun Showunmi, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for governor of Ogun State, has refuted claims that the nation’s largest opposition party is cursed because of its protracted dispute, which resulted in its electoral defeat.
According to sources, Showumi said in a Punch interview that the PDP, as the sole democratic party in the state, would inevitably face some of the problems within the party.
He acknowledged that the PDP has been afflicted by a lengthy crisis and that the National Working Committee (NWC) is working to find a solution.
