Hilda Dokubo, a former Nollywood actress who is now a politician, has refuted reports that she was suspended from the Labour Party, LP, in Rivers State.
The ward executive committee of the LP in Rivers reportedly removed the party’s chairperson on Thursday due to financial misbehavior.
Ajalamonia Ibama, the ward chairman; Lole Amacheer, the secretary; and Emmanuel Ibamathe, the treasurer, signed a letter to Asari Toru, the chairman of the LP, indicating the suspension.
The Women Leader Osaki Dieypiriye and the Publicity Secretary Osaki Dokubo are among the other signatories to the letter.
