Four months before his tenure ends, Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki formally established a transition committee on Thursday, consisting of twenty people, to supervise the orderly handover of information and power to the next administration.
Joseph Eboigbe, a former State Commissioner for Finance, is leading the Committee.
Obaseki administered the oath to the committee members in the EXCO Chambers of the Government House in Benin City, with a few members taking part virtually.
Obaseki, whose second term in office is about to end, spoke at the occasion and remarked,
