Demanding a ₦150 million ransom, bandits release a Kaduna judge without children.

Janet Gimba, a judge who was kidnapped last Sunday in Kaduna together with her four children, has been freed by bandits.

The judge has been let free, but her children are still being held captive and their captors are asking for a sizable sum to rescue them.

Punch claims that Judge Janet Gimba’s husband, Dr. Musa Gimba, a physician, verified her release and disclosed that the bandits were still detaining their kids.

According to Dr. Gimba, the abductors have threatened the children’s life if they do not pay the ₦150 million ransom required in order to free them. They have also given a harsh three-day ultimatum.
