Olamide apologises over fight with Don Jazzy, swearing on live TV

Musis star, Olamide Adedeji has apologised for his outburst on Friday night at the just concluded Headies Awards 2015.

The YBNL boss set the social media community on fire after he took to the stage to bomb the organizers of the award for denying his act, Lil Kesh, of the Next Rated Artiste Award category for Mavin artiste, Reekado Banks.

This obviously didn’t go well with Olamide and he made his feelings known when he climbed the stage with the whole YBNL team. His artist Adekunle Gold won the award for Best Alternative act for his song, Shade.

While expressing his appreciation, LilKesh prostrated before Olamide who then took the mic and said; “This award belongs to Lil Kesh. Lil Kesh is our own Next Rated artist. F**k that shit! The streets ti take over. Every f**king single was a hit back to back.

From lyrically to Shoki to Efejoku. Ko ni dafun Iya anybody”, he then threw the mic down and they all walked off the stage.

After Olamide’s speech, Don Jazzy won The Lifetime Achievement Award and while taking his award, he addressed Olamide’s rant on stage.

He said “Egbon Olamide, if you want the car, come and take it.” (Next Rated win comes with a car).

This irked Olamide who went on his twitter page to rip his colleague apart, describing him as Don Agbaya Jazzy.

“U respect me .. I respect u disrespect me I disrespect u .. U still going to do d same tin to reekado when he leaves ur a lebel . Lol

“Respect is reciprocal… F-ck u don jazzy .. I mentioned my name .. I’ll fucking mention ur name fucking for being childish oloshi.

“He said if I want car I should come n take it seriously ? Do i look like ur maids ? Ppl wey de produce for u wey u de put ur name ? F-ck boy.” He tweeted.

However, some of his fans were angry with the singer for taking the matter too far.

The rapper took to his Instagram page to apologise to his fans and public at large, for his misconduct.

“I want to apologise to my fans for my conduct, including swearing on Live TV, at the Headies event hours ago. I recognise that you are the most important part of my work and my journey so far without you. Therefore, you deserve better from me, I promise to conduct myself in a more respectable manner in future,” he assured.
