Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, has declared that he is aware that his adversaries are plotting to harm him.
The governor made this statement to the media on Tuesday in Port Harcourt after meeting behind closed doors with the heads of security.
He clarified that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the current threat that the outgoing Local Government Council chairs posed to the state’s peace.
The governor said that the matter has been discussed during the meeting and expressed disappointment over the invasion of the council secretariats.
“You are all aware that the tenure of the council chairmen ended,” he said.
