Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has claimed that Israeli forces may likely launch an attack on the courtroom in The Hague if the International Criminal Court, ICC, arrests Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu and military Chief, Yoav Gallant.
Fani-Kayode was reacting to the move by the ICC to arrest and prosecute Netanyahu, Gallant, and some Hamas leaders.
Karim Khan, the Chief Prosecutor of ICC had applied for Netanyahu and Gallant’s arrest.
Khan also sought the arrest and prosecution of Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, the group’s political leader, Ismail Haniyeh, and the Hamas military chief, Mohammed Deif.
Speaking yesterday, Khan said his office had applied to ICC’s pre-trial chamber for arrest warrants for crimes committed during Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel and the ensuing war in Gaza.
Reacting, Fani-Kayode urged Khan to watch his back and ensure the protection of his family members.
Posting on X, he wrote: “The sheer depravity and psychotic disposition of the Zionist state is such that if Benjamin Netanyahu (@netanyahu) and Yoav Gallant (@Yoavgallant) are eventually arrested and put before the International Criminal Court (@IntlCrimCourt) at the #Hague the @IDF is likely to launch an attack on that town and drop lethal phosphorous and precision bombs on the court house killing everyone in it including the lawyers, judges, staff and even Bibi and Gallant themselves.
Their justification for this will be that Hamas fighters were hiding in tunnels under the court house and using those in it as human shields.
This is the barbaric, murderous, homicidal and genocidal mindset of the Zionists.
They slaughter, butcher, murder and maim with impunity and to them even babies and infants are fair game and legitimate targets for their savagery, brutality, inhumanity and gratuitous violence.
