Artiste’s performance stopped over outfit in Babcock University

A female artiste performing at the Freshers’ Fair of the Babcock University was stopped mid performance over her choice of outfit.

In this viral video from the incident that surfaced on the internet on Monday, the artiste was seen clothed in baggy trousers and a tank top, while performing.

A TikToker, Andrea Eyonsa, who shared the video said, “POV: They stopped her performance cause of what she was wearing.”

Babcock University is a private Christian university owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nigeria.

According to the school’s website, skirts and dresses above knee length are not allowed, as all skirts and dresses must be three inches below the knee.

Also jean and jean like materials are not allowed on campus as well as pencil trousers or above the ankle trousers.

The school has also stated that skirts and dresses showing body contours would be treated as sexual harassment.
