A few weeks ago, popular Lagos medical practitioner, Femi Olaleye, made headlines after a purported video of him having s3x with a young girl, allegedly a patient on admission, emerged online.
This comes a few months after Femi was called out by Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, for defiling his wife’s niece.
The video which made the rounds online allegedly captured the Doctor waking up a young lady as they both removed their clothes before engaging in the sexual act.
There were speculations that the lady in the viral video was a minor who was admitted to Femi’s hospital and he took her home to take advantage of her.
You Admitted It To Me
In September 2022, Kate Henshaw exposed Femi Olaleye for allegedly molesting his wife’s niece for a period of one year and nine months.
The actress in a lengthy video shared on her Instagram page disclosed that Olaleye, who is the founder of Optimal Healthcare Company, had approached her to partner with his medical foundation against cancer
The single mother of one noted that she had worked in an advocacy capacity with the medical practitioner and she has been friends with his family.
However, the duo recently met at an advocacy event where women were to get free screening at Lagos Island and she asked Femi about his wife, who was absent.
According to the actress, Femi opened up to her about how their marriage has crashed, stating that his wife knew his weakness and decided to set him up by bringing a 15-year-old girl into the house, and he had sexual relations with her.
Kate noted that the doctor admitted to her that he committed the offense and she later spoke to the wife who gave details of how the girl was deflowered and threatened to remain silent over the issue.
Femi Olaleye Speaks
But in a statement issued on Wednesday, Femi Olaleye denied the allegation of defiling his wife’s niece, who is a minor.
Femi noted he had underestimated the situation which he thought was a domestic issue with his wife and those encouraging her to destroy their home.
According to the medical practitioner, his work, person, and friendship are being threatened by false and malicious allegations.
He added that he has decided to fight against the allegations and blackmail against him.
The statement reads: “My name and organisation are in the news and on social media for all the wrong reasons.
“I think I may have underestimated the situation and thought it was a domestic issue which my wife and those encouraging her to destroy our home have weaponised.
“I have now decided to fight against the false and malicious allegations and of course what now looks like set-up/blackmail”
Lagos Govt Fails To Arraign Femi
The Lagos State Government failed to arraign Femi Olaleye on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the Ikeja Special Offences Court but his lawyer said he was out of town and would be available on the next adjourned date.
Femi is facing a two-count charge of alleged defilement and sexual assault by penetration of his wife’s niece.
