The Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor has assured that despite rising insecurity in Nigeria, the forthcoming 2023 general elections will be held as scheduled.
Irabor, who spoke during a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday at the defence headquarters in Abuja, said the military remained unshaken with its commitment to protecting the lives of citizens and the democratic ideals in the country.
He assured that his men will do everything possible to ensure that nothing stops the poll from holding.
