Pastor Taribo West renders prayers for Tinubu [VIDEO]

Former Super Eagles of Nigeria defender, Taribo West, on Saturday prayed energetically for a 2023 presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

West and other former Nigeria international football players visited the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State to congratulate him on his 70th birthday which comes up on March 29.

The ex-Super Eagles players included former Eagles’ goalkeepers, Peter Rufai, Ike Shorunmu and Dosu Joseph; ex-Eagles’ captains Austin JJ Okocha and Nwankwo Kanu; Uche Okechukwu, Obafemi Martins, Tijani Babangida, Victor Ikpeba and Mutiu Adepoju.

West, now a pastor, prayed that Nigeria be blessed with more people like Tinubu, while wishing him well in the presidential race.

Responding to their kind comments, Tinubu said together, the former players reflected the spirit of unbreakable team.

He used the opportunity to seek the support of the players for his presidential ambition, saying he has a vision and the competence and ability to implement that vision.
