POPULAR gospel musician and minister, Sinach Egbu aka Sinach has explained why she is organising a Christmas concert tagged Christmas With Sinach and Friends.
At a recent parley in Lagos, Sinach said the event billed for December 12, at the Monarch event centre, Lekki would be a Christmas to remember.
“Christmas is a very special time in all our lives as kids, as grownups, we have had amazing times at Christmas. It brings memories of giving, receiving, and sharing joy though a lot of people do not understand the real meaning of Christmas. This Christmas, some of my friends, some in Nigeria, some outside Nigeria just want to put together a concert, a place where people can come together and celebrate the real meaning of Christmas.
Beyond the celebration, the giving of gifts, and the beautiful times that we have, we should understand that the real meaning of Christmas is that a king was born, and with Him being born, God came in the form of man and stayed with us and through His coming, we can have salvation, deliverance and we can know ourselves as more than ordinary,” Sinach began.
“We are also going to be giving back apart from pulling everybody together and having a joyful time and presenting excellent music from my friends of which we termed it, A Christmas To Remember.”
The concert with Vincent Hillary as project manager, recording artiste, Obiorah Obiwon as a committee member, would feature foreign and local acts like Todd Dulaney, Adlan Cruz, Da’ dra GreatHouse, Ayo Vincent, Onyeka Onwenu, and the Gosgem choir.
