Covid-19: Buhari urges Nigerians to obey protocols as Trump, wife tested positive

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday prayed for the quick recovery of the United States President Donald Trump and his wife, Melanie, who apparently tested positive for COVID-19.

Buhari’s generosity message was contained in an announcement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, named, ‘President Buhari wishes US President, Trump, family snappy recuperation.’

The announcement read, “President Muhammadu Buhari joins all residents of the United States of America in petition for snappy and full recuperation of President Donald Trump and his significant other, Melanie, who allegedly tried positive for COVID-19”.

The President notes, with compassion, that the occurrence of COVID-19 in the White House shows the test presented by the pandemic over the world, and trouble in containing the spread.

“While wishing the American First Family speedy turnaround in their current health status, President Buhari urges more compliance among Nigerians to protocols and adherence to advice of medical doctors, particularly epidemiologists.”
