Lagos by-election won’t be an easy ride for APC

The National Rescue Movement (NRM) said the Oct.31 Lagos East Senatorial and Kosofe Constituency II, State House of Assembly by-political race won’t be a simple ride for the decision All Progressive Congress (APC).

Boss Kaoli Olusanya, APC Vice Chairman, Lagos East had said during a gathering with ward administrators and committee authorities in Somolu on Monday that the gathering will humble all adversaries to win the races.

In any case, Mr Adetayo Adelaja, the NRM possibility for the Kosofe Constituency II by-political decision disclosed to NAN that the decision gathering ought not figure the races would be a simple ride.

“I am not underestimating any competitor on the grounds that each applicant has a splendid possibility, yet our own is the most brilliant”.

“I am certain the decision party is believing that it will be a walkover, allowed us to sit back and watch,” he said.

On crusade, Adelaja said that the gathering had started activation of citizens at the grassroots through a way to-entryway mission to guarantee triumph at the survey.

“Adolescents who have framed themselves into various cells are going round preparing support. They know that the focal point of the electorate is on the gathering and not people.

“They are moving around illuminating the electorate not to zero in on the gathering yet on the applicant who can convey. Is it not time to protect our locale from 21 years of guarantees and disappointment?” he said.

Adelaja said that the target of his party was to rescue the masses and people of Kosofe Constituency II and put joy on their faces by ensuring dividends of democracy at their doorsteps.

“I will defend the constituents’ interests. I will engage the service of social workers to effectively solve their pressing personal problems.

“I will organise youths in my constituency, ensure they are trained batches by batches on skills that will be of great benefits to them”.

“Also, it is one of my burning desires to bring up future leaders that will take up as early as possible from us,” he said.

The candidate urged security agencies and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure free, fair and credible poll without giving undue advantage to the ruling party.

The elections became necessary following the demise of former lawmakers who were members of APC.
