Multiple Explosions Rock Borno

Two bomb explosions have rocked Mandirari Village in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State on Monday night, causing residents to flee for dear lives.

Reports say the explosions occurred at around 8:38 pm.

At least two persons have been reported killed just as information about casualty figures remain sketchy.

“There were two explosions in Mandirari Anguwan around 8:39pm this night,” Sahara Reporters quoted an unnamed security personnel as saying.

This is coming a day after 20 persons were killed and 24 others injured when Boko Haram terrorists attacked Gajigana village of Borno.

The Sunday attack was said to have occurred in the farming community located in Magumeri Local Government Area despite troops’ prresence.
