The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ebonyi State has won all the 13 Chairmanship and 171 Councilorship positions in the state.
Local Government Election was conducted in the state on Saturday, by the State Independent Electoral Commission.
The Election was held in the 13 local Government councils and the 171 wards.
Announcing the result at the Commission headquarters Abakaliki on Sunday, the Chairman of the Commission, Barrister Jossy Eze declared that the PDP was victorious in all the 13 Chairmanship seats and all the 171 Councillorship wards in the State.
He said, “the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won the entire Chairmanship/Councillorship seats in Abakaliki, Afikpo North, Afikpo South, Ishielu, Ikwo, Ivo, Izzi, Ohaukwu, Ohaozara, Onicha, Ebonyi, Ezza North, and Ezza South local Government Areas respectively.”
