Twenty eight Nigerians were on Thursday deported for residing in three European countries without valid visas.
The Nigerians were repatriated from Italy, Switzerland and Belgium.
48 Nigerians were on Nov.25, deported from the United Kingdom for various immigration offences.
Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria’s (FAAN) source at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, said that 24 of the returnees were repatriated from Italy and two each from Switzerland and Belgium.
According to the source, the deportees are mainly males flown into the country in a Meridiana Fly aircraft, from Rome.
The source said the deportees arrived at the Hajj Camp area of the airport 7.25 p.m. and were received by Nigerian Immigration Services and other security agencies.
