Three killed, many trapped as building collapses in Lagos

Tragedy occured early hours today when a building collapsd at Orisha Street Isheri, Magodo area of the state.

Three bodies, mainly teenagers, were recovered so far from the debris.

Director of Lagos State Fire Service, Mr. Rasaq Fadipe and General Manager Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Mr. Micheal Akindele, who confirmed the incident, said rescue operation is still on going to rescue other trapped victims alive.

The three recovered male teenagers bodies were yet to be identified.

According to eyewitness, the building caved in suddenly, at about 7am, during the early downpour.
