Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Iyabo Ojo, has come to her mother’s defence amid controversies surrounding the actress.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Priscilla alleged a pattern aimed at ruining Iyabo’s plans, particularly her upcoming movie ‘The Return of Arinzo,’ but expressed confidence that God’s support will prevail.
She stated that Iyabo is often misunderstood and blamed, and that critics twist her words whether she speaks out or remains silent.
Priscilla assured Iyabo of her support, along with her fans, urging her mother to remain true to herself.
Priscilla expressed confidence that the film will be a hit, citing the premiere’s turnout as evidence of Iyabo’s good character and the public’s support.
She wrote, “Always misunderstood, always blamed!! Even when she’s not the one in the mix. Since Arinzo’s announcement, can’t you see the pattern? A lot of drama back-to-back, just for one aim: ruin her plans, but God’s stronger than man. And this movie will sell in Jesus’ name!
“When she’s quiet, they twist the story. When she speaks the truth, they get angry and still twist the story.
“All in all, a good heart will always win. The return of Arinzo is already a masterpiece, and no matter how they gather, if the gathering isn’t of God, they’ll fail. Didn’t you see the magnitude of people who showed up for the movie premiere? If she were a bad person, do you think people would show up and support her? Exactly, that shows how she shows up and supports people.
Lastly, if you look at everything clearly, you’ll see that most of the time she gets dragged is because she’s always fighting people’s battles offline + online, but when it’s time for them to fight for her, what happens is they go mute. Hmmm life.

The Nation reported a tense moment at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere where Funke Akindele allegedly snubbed Toyin Abraham’s greeting.
In a viral video, Funke was seated with Iyabo and Mercy Aigbe when Toyin approached, but Funke ignored her.
Iyabo Ojo has spoken out, asking critics to stop name-calling, revealing she’d previously mediated their reconciliation but won’t beg again.
Ojo disclosed the reason for their feud, stating she wants to distance herself and urged others to respect her boundaries.
