Iran vows to ‘pursue, kill’ Netanyahu

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has vowed to pursue and kill Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, amid rising tensions involving Israel, the United States and Iran.

In a post published on Sepah News, the IRGC’s website, the elite Iranian military force declared that it would continue to target Netanyahu.

“If this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force,” the IRGC said, according to Iranian media reports.

News360 Info recalls that the threat comes amid widespread rumors circulating on social media claiming that Netanyahu had been killed.

The rumours went viral over the weekend, prompting the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and other Israeli authorities to dismiss the claims as false while offering counter narratives to calm the speculation.

In a statement, the office of the Israeli Prime Minister denied the reports of Netanyahu’s death and described the claims as fake.

“These are fake news; the Prime Minister is fine,” the Prime Minister’s office said.
