EPL: ‘Rubbish’ – Cole Palmer responds to reports of leaving Chelsea for Man United

Chelsea attacking midfielder, Cole Palmer has responded to rumours about leaving the club.

The England international rubbished the claims saying he does not pay attention to rumours.

Palmer got three goals in the Blues’ 3-1 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux in the Premier League on Saturday.

He scored first in the 13th minute with a penalty, and then added another goal from a penalty in the 35th minute.

He completed his hat-trick three minutes later and did his usual ‘Cold’ celebration and then put his hands to his ears.

After the game, the Chelsea midfielder was asked about his future at the club, and he replied as quoted by Goal,

“Everyone loves to chat rubbish, don’t they?”

“I don’t pay a lot of attention to it. You see things. But I feel like I’ve already come from a strong position, so I don’t focus on that.”

Last month, some reports said Palmer might go back to Manchester in the summer, connecting him with Manchester United.

The English player joined Manchester City’s youth team and later played 41 times for the first team, scoring six goals and providing two assists.

Chelsea brought in Palmer in 2023, and he has scored 51 goals and provided 31 assists in 114 matches for the team.
