Popular Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth, has reacted to the recent fight between VeryDarkMan and Mr Jollof.
Verydarkman and Mr Jollof were detained by the Delta State Police Command on Monday, November 17, 2025, after engaging in a physical fight inside a United Nigerian aircraft.
Reacting to the incident, Basketmout, in a video shared on his Instagram page, described it as “embarrassing.”
Revisiting his long-time feud with AY Makun, Basketmout said, “It never got to the point that me and him go start to exchange punches.”
While urging the public to live in love and peace with one another, the comedian asked, “How did we get here?
“Like everybody else, I just saw the video of Mr Jollof and VDM fighting in a public space, not just any public place, but inside a plane. As plane tight reach, these grown men still find space dey fight. And I asked myself, how did we get here?
“Me and AY get issues for the long time, but it never got to the point that me and him go start to exchange punches. How embarrassing is this? Why can’t we just live in love and peace?”
The two celebrities became sworn enemies after Verydarkman accused Mr Jollof’s wife of committing adultery with politicians and Yahoo boys in order to help her husband secure a political appointment in Delta State.
Reacting to the allegations, the couple filed a N500 million defamation lawsuit against VeryDarkMan.
