Gunmen have abducted a road construction worker in Charanchi Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The incident, which occurred around 7:14 p.m. on Thursday, happened along the Kunduru–Kadanya feeder road when the attackers ambushed and kidnapped one Kabiru Bature, a 35-year-old driver working with Stantech Road Construction Company.

According to Makama, security forces were immediately mobilised to the area to block all possible escape routes and began a search-and-rescue operation to secure the victim’s release.
Makama said troops had been deployed to track the kidnappers believed to have escaped into the nearby forest.
As of the time of filing this report, efforts were ongoing to rescue the victim safely and bring the abductors to justice.
