Suspected gunmen abduct APC chairman’s wife, daughter in Kwara

Suspected gunmen have abducted the wife and daughter of Alhaji Mohammed Swasun, the APC chairman of Patigi Local Government Area in Kwara State.

The incident happened on Sunday evening.
The APC chairman reportedly saw his wife, Hajia Fatima, and daughter, Amina being taken by the attackers to an unknown location.

A source familiar with the incident confirmed that the Patigi Police Division has been informed about the incident.

“The authorities are aware, but the kidnappers have not made any contact with the family yet,” the source said.

As at time of reporting, authorities are yet to respond to the incident.
